Andy Nyman began acting in front of the cameras since the 1980s, but it was in 2000 that he had his first notable performance as Keith Whitehead in the film Dead Babies , an adaptation of the Martin Amis novel of the same name. Nyman won Best Actor at the 2006 Cherbourg-Octeville Irish and British Film Festival for his role as Colin Frampton in Steen Agro’s Shut Up and Shoot Me . Nyman is the co-creator of Ghost Stories , a successful horror play that opened at the Liverpool Playhouse, went on to run at the Lyric Theater Hammersmith and the Duke of York’s Theater in the West End, as well as being nominated for two Olivier Awards in 2011. In 2017 , Stories from Beyond the Grave , the film adaptation of the work, was released , where Nyman starred alongside Paul Whitehouse and Martin Freeman. In 2021, we will see him in the action-adventure film alongside Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, Jungle Cruise
