Clifford was more than a father, husband, and grandfather; he was a beacon of love and joy to all who knew him. His characteristic warmth and infectious smile greeted everyone he encountered, often accompanied by his trademark introduction, likening his name to “Clifford the Big Red Dog.”

A devoted husband of 63 years, his love for his wife Rose was unwavering. He cherished her delectable cherry pies and chocolate chip cookies, a testament to their enduring love. Survived by his loving children Kathleen, Lisa, and Brian, as well as grandchildren Alyssa and Garrett, Clifford’s heart brimmed with pride and love for his family. His great-grandchild Elijah, whom he fondly called “Chunky,” became his cherished companion in his final year. While Dad never favored funerals, his abiding love for Jesus was undeniable. He believed in spreading joy and kindness, encouraging others to share a smile and a kind word.

To honor Clifford’s memory, his family invites all to celebrate his life at a mass on January 5th at St. John LaLande Catholic Church in Blue Springs. A testament to his spirit, they will share maple donuts, symbolizing his zest for life and the joy he brought to others.
