The police in Minneapolis have reported that the incident occurred.

On account of a gunshot wound, the injured man, who is also in his 20s, was transported to the hospital; however, it is anticipated that he will survive. When it comes to determining the number of people who were involved in the shooting, investigators are still going to work.

Despite the fact that the shooting took place within walking distance of the University of Minnesota campus, the police have stated that they do not believe any of the individuals who were shot are current or former students of the university. In a statement, Garret Parten, the Public Information Officer for the Minneapolis Police Department, stated that “parents are right and students are right to be concerned.” But this is a cause for concern in every single part of this city. If you have any information regarding the shooting, you are urged to call 911 or to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
