BIOGRAPHY
Dylan McDermott is an American actor. He made his screen debut in Hamburger Hill (1987) before starring in the 1989 film Steel Magnolias alongside Julia Roberts as her husband Jackson Latcherie. McDermott is best known for his role as attorney and law firm boss Bobby Donnell in the legal drama series The Practitioners , which earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama and a nomination. for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. McDermott is also known for his roles in the first two seasons of American Horror Story : American Horror Story: Murder House and American Horror Story: Asylum , where he plays Ben Harmon and Johnny Morgan, respectively. He reprized his role as Ben Harmon in American Horror Story: Apocalypse , the show’s eighth season
