James Fairbanks Obituary, Death –  James Douglas Fairbanks, 48, of Haverhill, passed away at his residence on Friday, December 1.
Barrett On July 25, 1975, James Gargano was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, to Douglas R. Fairbanks and Barbara P. (McCoy) Gargano. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1993 and pursued graphic design studies at Northern Essex Community College.

James was the team leader for S & H Landscaping’s grounds maintenance for several years. He loved camping, paintballing, exploring, canoeing the Saco River, and taking pictures. James’s strongest artistic medium was drawing. He had a great sense of humor and cherished his loved ones, especially his family and friends.

The following family members of James’s have departed: his father, Douglas R. Fairbanks of Haverhill; his stepmother, Cheryl Ann (Leck) Fairbanks; his grandmother, Marjorie Fairbanks of Groveland; his sister, Melissa A. Davies; his brothers, Michael A. Drapeau, Ryan W., and Melissa Fairbanks; and James’s own family, Evan T., Emily, and Reid D. Fairbanks of Atkinson, NH. His nephews are Wallace Fairbanks, Harris, and Callum Fairbanks; he also leaves behind a large number of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

James Gargano’s mother Barbara P. (McCoy) Gargano died before he was born. Plans: Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill, on Sunday, December 10, from 1 PM to 2:30 PM. There will be an opportunity for everyone to share memories of Jim and our shared loss after calling hours.

After the event, all attendees will receive lunch and refreshments from the American Legion Carl Davis Post #34 (AmVets), which is located at 175 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
