The New Bloomfield, Missouri community is mourning the devastating loss of its 37-year-old residentJamie Strope, who unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023. According to reports, Strope died due to pneumonia and heart complications.
A loving wife, mother of three and much more to those fortunate enough to have known her, Jamie Strope’s passing has left a huge hole in the fabric of New Bloomfield. She means the world to many people.
Jamie leaves behind heartbroken husband Tyler, 17-year-old stepson Lain, daughter Henley (10 years old) and son Brantley (8 years old). She also leaves behind countless friends, extended family and community members grieving the shocking passing of a vibrant woman gone too soon.
Without a doubt,Jamie touched countless lives with her compassion, humor and grace throughout her 37 years.. As the community processes this devastating loss, the priority is to support her young children and husband through their immense grief.
To help the Strope family overcome deep hardship, the New Bloomfield community came together. A train providing meals has been set up, while well-wishers are purchasing gift cards for food and groceries. As one supporter wrote, “A gift card to Aldi or Walmart would go a long way…to make sure their pantry and freezer are stocked.”
Although the grief cannot be erased, hopefully Jamie Strope’s clear spirit and memory will provide some comfort. Her smile that lit up any room will never be forgotten in New Bloomfield and beyond. May she rest in peace knowing how loved and missed she will always be.
