Kathryn Leigh Scott is an American film and television actress. In 1962 she moved to New York to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts on a scholarship while working as a Playboy Bunny at New York’s original Playboy Club. Upon graduating from the Academy, Ella Kathryn obtained work in the classic gothic drama Dark Shadows (1966-19710), where she played four roles: Maggie Evans, Josette du Pres, Lady Kitty Hampshire and Rachel Drummond. She also starred in the 1970 spin-off film Dark Shadows . Kathryn appeared in several television films and several feature films, both British and American. Additionally, Ella Leigh became a renowned writer, publishing several successful novels. She made several appearances in television series and in a cameo in Tim Burton’s 2012 film Dark Shadows . She recently appeared in Woody Allen’s A Rainy Day in New York (2019).
