A horrific car accident occurred early Wednesday morning in the small rural town of Getty Township, Minnesota, seriously injuring local resident Kyle Michael Lieser. According to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol, Lieser, 33, was driving his 2012 Chevy Malibu east on Highway 71 when he collided with a Dodge Durango at the intersection with County Road 22 at approximately 6:00 p.m. 45 am.
Lieser, known to friends as an avid outdoorsman and pillar of the close-knit Sauk Center community, tragically was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. He suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was urgently transported by ambulance to St. Cloud for medical emergencies.
