Mark Mandeville Obituary Winchester Massachusetts, Gathering and Memorial Services

Mark Mandeville Obituary, Death – Mark Mandeville, 68 years old, a resident of Roslindale, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly. He was born in Boston on June 26, 1953, and he received his high school diploma from Roslindale. Mark and Susan, his wife, brought up their three children in Walpole, where they also developed friendships that would last a lifetime. After 43 years of service, Mark took his retirement from the Boston Fire Department in the position of General Foreman in the Fire Alarm Construction division in 2018.

He was able to spend his retirement, which was far too brief, surrounded by his family and friends, and he was always there to lend a hand to those in need by utilizing his handyman skills.  Over 46 years, he was a proud member of the Boston Lodge of Elks #10 in Boston. His children, Kerrie Wilbur and her husband Eric of Walpole, Brian Mandeville and his wife Elise of Pittsfield, and Andrew Mandeville of Foxboro, are among those who do not survive Mark. His wife Susan is also among those who survive him.

Kinsley and Jack Wilbur, as well as Adelaide Mandeville, call him “Papa” with loving affection. Joseph, John, and James Mandeville, as well as Regina and Clay Green, Joan Marie and Joe Gniadek, and Joseph Mandeville, dedicated brother. Moreover, a large number of nieces and nephews survive him.

The funeral will begin at nine o’clock on Wednesday at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, which is located at 2055 Centre Street in West Roxbury. This will be followed by a Funeral Mass at ten o’clock in Holy Name Church. Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Guests include friends and family members. Rather than sending flowers, memorial contributions can be sent in his name to the website bfdrelief.org/donate.
