bid adieu to this world, peacefully embracing eternal slumber. Her passing leaves a poignant void in the lives of those who held her dear. Sandra, lovingly remembered as the dearly beloved wife of the late Desmond, fondly known as Desi, was not just a wife, but the nurturing heart of her family.
Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her role as a devoted wife; she was the dear mother of Richard, a beacon of guidance and affection. Richard’s life intertwined with Lucinda’s, who became not only his partner but also Sandra’s cherished daughter-in-law. In their family tapestry, Sandra’s role as a grandmother was embellished with love and joy as she embraced Natasha, Demi, and Terri.
The passage of time allowed her to relish the title of great-grandmother to Shyia, Ollie, Kyron, Archie, Phoenix, Xyla, Zaiyn-Lee, Theo, Bradai, and Blaiden, showering them with wisdom and affection, weaving the threads of familial love into a rich tapestry that shall endure through generations.
In commemoration of her life, a service shall be held at Murdock’s Funeral Home, 2a Windsor Avenue, Coleraine, on the forthcoming Sunday at 11.00 am. The service will be followed by her interment in the tranquil grounds of Ballywillan Cemetery. As a testament to the intimacy of their grief, the family respectfully requests that the privacy of their home be honored during this time.
While flowers symbolize beauty and transience, in lieu of floral tributes, the family kindly requests donations for the NI Children’s Hospice. Contributions, if desired, may be directed to Mrs. Mona Murdock at 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine, ensuring Sandra’s legacy extends to embrace and support those in need, fostering the essence of compassion she held close to her heart.
Sandra’s departure resonates as an irreplaceable loss, felt deeply by her loving family and the expansive embrace of her entire circle. The echos of her warmth, kindness, and unconditional love reverberate in the memories shared, creating a constellation of remembrance that will illuminate the paths of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As her spirit ascends to a higher abode, Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering familial devotion that will remain etched in the hearts of those she leaves behind, guiding them through the journey of life’s ebbs and flows.
