Dear mom, I love you so much. You are what is right with this world. I will never forget all our trips to rodeos. You are the only person who never wavered in your support of my dream of making it to the NFR. I’m so grateful for my first NFR that I got to share it with you. I will always remember your text after I got off the bus “are you okay?” “Good job my friend, I love” she was always there for me. She always asks me to mute her videos before posting. Now my new favorite thing is to kick back and hear my mom cheer me on.

My mother deserved more, she deserved more, but she was happy. All she needs are her two children (and she calls it her fun farm) which my mother loves to give away. Even when it seemed like we didn’t have much time left to grow up, we still went and celebrated ten days of Christmas for someone who had it worse than us.

Man, my mom loves to brag about her kids, anyone who’s a new mom, knows my sister and me. My mother raised more than ten children for two years just to keep them out of the group home, she wanted to keep them all. My mother loves being a mother.

The best thing that happened to me in the past few days was receiving a text from a friend of mine, “your mother raised a great cowboy” and that means a lot to me . My mother was everyone’s friend and never judged anyone. No one should have to lose their mother at 23. But I did it mom, I won my college finals, I graduated from college, I made it to the NFR and I did it all that with mom by my side. I love you mom, until we meet again your son.
